The U Šance Cottage is located in the beautiful natural landscape of the village of Ostravice, near the Šance Dam. From the valley of the popular recreation center with marked trails, you can go to Lysá hora, the largest mountain in the Beskydy Mountains. During your stay, you can look forward to relaxing in the sauna or in a hot tub. The U Šance Cottage offers accommodation for 11 people in 4 bedrooms. On the ground floor there is a triple bedroom (1× double bed and 1× extra bed - couch) with a TV. On the upper floor there are three more bedrooms. There is a quadruple bedroom (2× single bed and 1× double bed) with a TV and two double bedrooms (2x single bed). The entire ground floor of the cottage is wheelchair accessible, including the bathroom, but you only need to climb three stairs at the entrance. Pleasant moments can be spent in the common room with smart TV, DVD, fireplace, sofa, dining table and fully equipped kitchen (ceramic hob, electric oven, electric kettle, coffee maker, microwave, food processor, combined fridge, hand blender and many kitchen utensils including a dishwasher). In the basement you can relax in the Finnish sauna or enjoy moments of fun in another common room with table football and piano. The sanitary facilities include two bathrooms and three toilets. On the ground floor there is a bathroom with a shower and toilet. On the first floor there is a bathroom with a bathtub and a separate toilet. Heating is provided by a solid fuel boiler with distribution to underfloor and central heating. You can also heat the room in the fireplace stove in the living area. There is also a 300l hot water boiler in the basement. WIFI internet connection is available throughout the building. Outside the cottage you can sit on the terrace with a beautiful view of Lysá hora. There is a grill and a fireplace. An outdoor bathing barrel provides relaxation with a view of nature. Children will appreciate the trampoline, sandbox and toys. You can park directly at the property, there are 5 parking spaces available. In the winter months, access may be difficult and it is advisable to have chains or a 4x4 drive. In the vicinity of the cottage there is the possibility of hiking, cycling, swimming, mushroom picking, paragliding, ski alping, skiing and cross-country skiing. Swimming options include, for example: Ostravice - Sepetná swimming pool, Frýdlant nad Ostravicí swimming pool, Horní Bečva dam, Frenštát pod Radhoštěm swimming pool, Bečva biotope swimming pool, Frenštát pod Radhoštěm aquapark, Baška dam, etc. Nearby ski resorts are available: Malenovice - P.O.M.A. – Hutě, Malenovice, SKI Park Gruň, Opálená and others. For trips in the surrounding area, you can visit Golf Ostravice, the Smrk Nature Reserve, the Kněhyňská Cave, the Petr Bezruč Log Cabin, the Opičárna Rope Maze, the Čeladná Bobsleigh Run, the legendary Pustevny and Radhošť Mountain.
