The original, spacious, sensitively reconstructed and partly barrier-free Maruška Cottage is located on the outskirts of the village of Velké Losiny in the flat valley of the Desná River below the main massif of the Jeseník Mountains at an altitude of around 450 m above sea level. Due to its ideal location, the Cottage offers many possibilities for summer and winter tourism. In Velké Losiny you can visit the castle, the Handy paper mill or the spa, including the new thermal water park. In winter, the close proximity of the Loučná nad Desnou ski area (approx. 5 km) is an advantage. During your stay, you can look forward to pleasant outdoor seating and relaxation in the sauna or hot tub. The period-furnished Chalupa Maruška offers accommodation for 14 people, there is one double and three-bed bedroom on the ground floor, two four-bed bedrooms in the attic and a single bed in the hall serving as an extra bed (by arrangement for up to 2 people). Two cots and a high chair are available for rent. The entire ground floor of the cottage is wheelchair accessible. There is a spacious room with a dining table and a fully equipped kitchen (electric stove, microwave oven, dishwasher, two refrigerators, espresso coffee machine, coffee maker, toaster, portable electric grill). From the kitchen you can walk into the living room, which is dominated by a beautiful tiled stove, and there is also a corner sofa, a table with chairs, a bed and a TV. There are a total of 5 modern TVs with internet and satellite connection available throughout the cottage. The sanitary facilities include one bathroom on the ground floor with a wheelchair-accessible shower, bathtub, sink and toilet and one bathroom on the first floor with a shower, sink and toilet. There is an automatic washing machine. Upon agreement, an electric lift for disabled people can be provided above the bathtub and near the bathing barrel. Heating is provided by electric underfloor heating and a tiled stove in the kitchen with central distribution of warm air throughout the cottage. An indoor heat pump unit (heating and cooling) is also located in the center of the kitchen. A high-speed powerful WIFI internet connection is available throughout the building and partly in the garden. Around the cottage is a fenced and well-maintained plot (1,500 m2). You can sit on the outdoor covered terrace or in the garden house. There is an outdoor fireplace for barbecuing. You can relax in the Polar Aqua King thermal massage tub from a Finnish manufacturer with thermal heating, filtration and a whirlpool for up to six people or in the Finnish sauna. In the summer months, you can cool off in the circular plastic pool with a diameter of 3.7m with sand filtration. A sandpit and a swing are available for children. You can park directly at the building. In the surroundings of the cottage, hiking, cycling, swimming, fishing, mushroom picking, cross-country skiing and skiing are possible. There is a riding stable and tennis courts nearby.
