Cottage under Sněžkou - solitude by the forest near the Úpský waterfall. The cottage is located in the beautiful countryside of the Krkonoše Mountains in the village of Velká Úpa, on the picturesque "old road" connecting Úpa with the popular mountain resort Pec pod Sněžkou. It is an ideal starting point for a hike to Sněžka, the highest mountain in the Czech Republic. The mountain resort includes an extensive ski area Skiresort Černá hora - Pec with 12.5 km of slopes and modern cable cars and a bobsleigh track and a children's park Lemurie with trampolines, climbing frames and slides. The cottage offers accommodation for 22 people in eight rooms with private bathrooms. The property can be rented as a whole or each room separately. Upon agreement, it is possible to arrange a stay with breakfast in the form of a buffet. There are a total of: 1 double room with a bathroom in the room and a toilet in the hallway, 3 double rooms with a bathroom and a toilet in the room, 2 triple rooms with a bathroom in the room and a toilet in the hallway and 2 quadruple rooms with a bathroom and a toilet in the room. All rooms have a double bed, the triple rooms also have a separate single bed, and the quadruple room has two separate single beds in one and a bunk bed in the other. A cot, high chair and toys for children are available for rent. All accommodation can spend pleasant moments in a spacious common room with a dining room, sofa, TV with SAT, bar counter and fully equipped kitchen (large fridge, freezer, electric stove, dishwasher, microwave, electric kettle, coffee maker, toaster, electric whisk and a large amount of dishes). WIFI internet connection is available throughout the building. The cottage includes a storage room for bicycles and skis. The sanitary facilities include a total of 8 bathrooms with showers and 9 toilets. Towels, a hairdryer, an iron, a washing machine and a dryer are available. Heating is provided by a heat pump and radiators. There is a partially fenced, grassy area around the cottage. You can sit on the outdoor terrace. There is a grill, a fireplace and darts. 4 - 5 cars can be parked directly at the property. The access road to the property is maintained even in winter. In the vicinity of the cottage, there is the possibility of hiking, cycling, swimming, mushroom picking, skiing and cross-country skiing. Swimming options include: Aquacentrum Jánské Lázně, Swimming pool Čistá, Swimming pool Retro park Sejfy, Aquapark Špindlerův Mlýn, Labská Dam, Aquacentrum Vrchlabí, Swimming pool Trutnov, etc. Nearby ski resorts are available: Skiport - Velká Úpa, Pec pod Sněžkou, Pěnkavčí vrch, Černá hora - Černý Důl, Černá hora - Jánské Lázně and others. Trips in the area include the Upper and Lower Úpský waterfall, Černá hora peat bogs or Lysečinská rock needle, Treetop Trail - Janské Lázně, Hnědý vrch Lookout Tower, Špindlerův Mlýn mountain resort, Krkonoše Museum - Vrchlabí or Jilemnice Chateau.
