Mountain cottage Veronika is located on the square of the Černý Důl center in the beautiful surroundings of the Eastern Krkonoše Mountains and also in the SkiResort Černá Hora - Pec. Not far away, you can visit the tourist-popular Treetop Trail in Janské Lázně or the Vrchlabí Aquacentrum. This renovated and comfortable Veronika Mountain Chalet, built in 1830, offers accommodation for 26 people in 7 bedrooms. In total, there are 2 x four-bed bedrooms with an extra bed, 3 x four-bed and 2 x double bedrooms. Two bedrooms are located on the ground floor, three bedrooms are upstairs and two bedrooms are attic. Shared moments can be spent on the ground floor in a social room for 12 people with a TV with satellite receiver and radio or upstairs in a social corner for 6 people. You can also sit in the large equipped kitchen (fridge, dishwasher, hob, oven, kettle and microwave) with a dining room for 16 people. WIFI internet connection is available throughout the building. The sanitary facilities include two bathrooms with a shower, two sinks and a toilet on the ground floor and one separate toilet with two sinks on the first floor. Heating is provided by gas central heating. There is a room for storing skis and bicycles. Outside of the cottage, you can spend time in the spacious garden (1000 m2) with the possibility of a barbecue or a campfire by the fireplace. In the summer there is a pleasant sitting area in the archway of the house and on the paved terrace behind the house. You can park directly at the building in the square in front of the cottage. Near the house there is a grocery and drug store, a post office, a payphone, ski rentals and a tourist information center. In the vicinity of the building, hiking, cycling, swimming, mushroom picking, skiing and cross-country skiing are possible. There is also a riding stable, tennis courts, golf course and bowling alley nearby. Swimming options include, for example: Vrchlabí aqua center, Čistá aqua center, Jánské Lázně aqua center, Vejsplachy pond, Sejfy Retro park swimming pool, Dolní Kalná swimming pool, Valteřice swimming pool, Trutnov - Pekelský pond, U Mlejna pond, Jilemnice swimming pool, Dolce pond, Labská dam, Jilemnice pool, etc. In winter, nearby ski resorts: Černá hora - Černý Důl, Horní Lánov, Černá hora - Jánské Lázně, Ski Family - Dolní Dvůr, Košťálka, Svoboda nad Úpou, Dolní Dvůr - Luisino údolí, Vrchlabí - Kněžický vrch, Strážné, Pec pod Sněžkou, Herlíkovice - Bubákov and others. For trips in the surroundings, the Black Mountain peat bogs, Krkonoše National Park, Spindleruv Mlyn, Dvur Králové nad Labem Zoo, Kuks Castle, Harrachov – a glass museum with the possibility of visiting the smelter, Mumlavský waterfall, Jilemnice and the highest peak of the Czech Republic, Sněžka, are alluring.
