The charming cottage near Babka is located in a quiet location in the village of Hvozdnice - Central Bohemian Region with good access to Prague. The cottage will take you back to the old days when everything went slower. You will take a bath in the tiled stove, make herbal tea and instead of social networks you will enjoy your loved ones or the view of the blazing fire in the fireplace. Accommodation for 6 people in a bedroom and a spacious attic + extra beds. Our intention was to preserve the charm of the loci of the more than 150-year-old cottage and open this space to the public. The cottage has been sensitively renovated, period building elements are used, such as attic floors, burnt bricks, old hewn beams, clay plasters, historic paving, tiled stove, cast iron fireplace and others. All furniture is renovated from old pieces. The cottage has two original living rooms: a kitchen and a bedroom on the ground floor (sleeps 2 people), a hallway and a bathroom with a shower and toilet and a newly built attic (sleeps 4-6 people), a roofed and covered terrace in winter, a sauna with outdoor cooling, fireplace with seating, parking for 5 cars. The charming cottage at Babka's is used for meetings and holding seminars and workshops, as well as for short-term rentals and recreation. The minimum length of stay is 2 nights. We look forward to seeing you here. There are countless beautiful hiking trails nearby, e.g. the oldest hiking trail in the Czech Republic - Mariánské currents from Štěchovice to Slapy, the Posázavská trail from Davle to Kamenné prívoz, the weir from the movie Indian Summer in Malá Lečica, rocks with views in the nearby area and countless other options. Sports activities in the surrounding area - multi-functional playground in the village, tennis courts in Měchenice, cycle paths, possibility to ride horses in the neighboring village, descent of Sázava in canoes or rafts, fitness center in Davla, swimming in the Slapy reservoir (15 km) and Líšnice pond. Trips by train and car - Hl. the city of Prague, Mníšek pod brdy, Vila Karla Čapek, Slapské vyhlídky, Posázavský pacific, Skalka nad Mníšek, Slapská dam, Dobříš, Příbram or, for example, Maková hora.
