The children's playground and swimming pool are located by the terrace, where you can sit quietly and keep a complete overview of the children. Since the cottage is also used by sick children (allergic, asthmatic), pets are not allowed. The newly built cottage on the outskirts of the village in a quiet village offers comfortable facilities for families with children and lovers of active recreation. There are many hiking trails and cycle paths in the area, in winter there are maintained cross-country trails, and several ski slopes are easily accessible. Behind the cottage is a large (1,700 m2) fenced garden with a swimming pool, children's playground, fireplace and covered seating with a grill. Facilities for safe storage of bicycles and skis. Parking right next to the building, easy access to the cottage even in winter. The Žďár Hills and the eponymous Protected Landscape Area can be considered, without exaggeration, one of the last untouched oases of peaceful and clean nature in the heart of the Czech Republic. As the source area of several Czech and Moravian rivers and pond systems, the area was declared a protected area of natural water accumulation. The Za Humny cottage will be your strategic base from where you can comfortably set off on trips to explore the Žďárské vrchy. Their highest peak, Devět skal, is only 6 kilometers away, and even the biggest lazy ones can reach Žákova hora (2 km) or the Tisůvka rock formation (2 km) from the cottage. But be sure to take a trip to the beautiful Čtyře palice (14 km). Or go into the forest for raspberries, blueberries or mushrooms - mushrooms like these do not grow anywhere else. The surrounding landscape offers not only nature but also many historical buildings and cultural activities. The biggest attraction of the area is the pilgrimage church of St. John of Nepomuk on Zelená hora, which is listed on the UNESCO cultural heritage list. However, there are also other historical and cultural monuments in the Žďárské vrchy area, the most famous of which include the Betlém Hlinsko open-air museum, the Zubštejn ruins or Dalečín.
